Having A Blast!!!
A great trip to anderson SC. Brandon had to stop and buy a pair of shoes that were grass worthy. Baily is the only one who signed up for swimming...did not know they were going to have that this year. Karson got in a fight...just kidding!!!! The twins Brittany and Nicole have giggled a lot. Lindsey left her flipflops in the bus, and Audrey misses her dog. The boys well...what can I say...they are having a great time...loud....crazy..being boyz.
Day 2!!!!!
Lots of fun...Not much sleep...but they are getting some tonight. Supper was great...BBQ and BBQ chicken. Our theme this week is Bon Apetit...God's Recipe for Your Life. Today we learned that God adopts us into his family when we ask him into our heart. We are a part of His family and He is our Father. Our Party Rocked Tonight!!!!
Day 3!!!!........
It is still 100 miles an hour! The kids have not slowed down at all. Tomorrow is OMC...I bought some colored hairspray for the kids...they do not know about that yet. Some have missed their folks...some haven't even mentioned their parents at all. We had great worship and a great party this evening. The cafateria has a conveyer belt, and Lindsey swears its the neatest thing she has ever seen....she watches her tray go in every day! Karson is camera shy but sure talks a lot. Nicole and Brittany got to go on stage tonight and play a game. Bailey didn't leave her shoes at the pool today...Yeahhhhhh Bailey. Right now all the boys are dirty and nasty...they have been playing in the rain...go figure. Brandon and Audrey are AWESOME!!!!!
Well That's It....Several of the kids asked if we could stay another week!!! We have had so much fun and I believe God has done a lot of work in the lives of these kids and us adults. Today was OMC (Organized Mass Chaos) and it was a blast. The kids are packing their clothes...good luck washing this stuff...some of the boys things have been wet and hibernating in the corner since monday!! The kids are bringing home their devotional books and this year there are devotions to do at home as well. Please encourage your kids to finish them out. Well gotta pack...see you guys tomorrow...and guess what...Tomorrow is Karson's Birthday...Give it up for Karson...WOOOOO!
